EcoStatic® – Sustainably Lowering Carbon Emissions – Part 2

In our last post, we explored biomaterials and the role of wool in Lanaco’s sustainability strategy. Today, we’ll examine the carbon impact of our EcoStatic® air filters and the innovative practices of Ovis Global™.

• Carbon Footprint: We’re on the path to achieving a negative carbon footprint for EcoStatic® media. By working closely with New Zealand farmers and supporting innovation in sheep farming, we are dedicated to minimizing our environmental impact.

• Energy Savings: EcoStatic®’s ultra-low pressure drop significantly reduces energy consumption. For instance, 1 million m² of EcoStatic® media can save 10 GWh of energy—enough to power approximately 1,400 average households (assume 7,000kWh per household per annum) for a year!

Ovis Global, the owner and developer of the Astino® breed & Astino® wool, is leading a 10-year breeding program to produce high-quality, low-carbon wool. This innovation supports Lanaco’s goal of creating sustainable products. By reducing methane emissions and enhancing productivity, Ovis Global aligns seamlessly with our vision for sustainable air filtration.
