Lanaco Showcases EcoStatic™ – the world’s most sustainable, versatile and trusted natural fiber air filter media at FILTECH 2023
FILTECH 2023, the world’s leading expo for the air filter media industry, just wrapped up in Cologne, Germany. FILTECH 2023 had more than 16,000 visitors from 80 countries, and nearly 450 exhibitors from 40 countries.
As one of the biggest events in the filtration industry, it’s the perfect platform for companies like Lanaco to showcase its latest products. FILTECH 2023 provided Lanaco with the opportunity to learn about the latest advancements in the field of filtration, network with industry leaders, and gain insights into new market trends and opportunities. Lanaco proudly debuted its new EcoStatic™ filter media and exhibited at FILTECH 2023 for the first time, as the only Australasian company at the expo, and supported by New Zealand Trade and Enterprise.
Sustainable Air Filtration: One of the highlights of this year’s event was the emergence of sustainable air filtration solutions designed to improve air filter performance, energy efficiency, sustainability and industry practices. For example, Mann+Hummel showcased its latest filtration solutions supported by data & IoT to accelerate cleaner mobility, air and water around the globe. Another highlight was the introduction of renewable raw materials and intelligent filter design by Hengst to achieve its sustainable goals. Moeller demonstrated its sustainable bio-based filter frames. Companies such as Roth, DHCAE Tools and AUTEC boasted digital tools for optimising manufacturing processes, control systems and machineries. AHLSTROM launched its new filtration materials for electric vehicles to accelerate uptake of sustainable filtration solutions by automotive and electronics manufacturers.
EcoStatic™ Applications: Dr. Shaun Tan, Head of Technology at Lanaco, had the opportunity to orally present the science behind the filters it supplied to NASA. Dr. Tan commented, “It was cold in Cologne, but we had the warmest spot in the city with so many engineers visiting our booth to carry out technical discussions about how EcoStatic™ can be implemented in their current and future products.”
Effective and Eco-friendly Solutions: Lanaco’s commitment to sustainability and environmental responsibility, has earned unexpected interest from residential & commercial HVAC, automotive and consumer appliances industries. The team at Lanaco was able to connect with potential customers, partners, and collaborators, sharing their expertise and knowledge in the field of filtration technology.
