Lanaco at the AHR Expo 2023: Showcasing Natural Material Breathable Filters

Lanaco, a New Zealand-based company that manufactures high-performance air filter media and filters using natural wool, was one of the attendees at the AHR Expo 2023, one of the world’s largest HVACR marketplace. The AHR Expo took place in Atlanta, Georgia from February 6 to 8, and attracted more than 40,000 attendees and 1,779 exhibitors from around the world.

By walking around, Lanaco showcased its innovative products and technology, where people could learn more about the benefits of using natural wool for air filtration. Lanaco’s star product is our EcoStatic® product range, which is natural, sustainable and has a 100% biodegradable option.

Lanaco’s products are designed to provide superior filtration performance, low resistance and true sustainability. Lanaco uses natural wool fibers that have unique properties such as high permeability, moisture management, sustainability, and fire retardancy. Lanaco’s products are also carbon conscious and we can now offer a product that biodegrades at the end of its life cycle.

Lanaco’s products have been used in various settings and industries, such as healthcare, HVAC, appliances, transportation, and aerospace. Lanaco’s filter media was even used in NASA’s Artemis mission to the moon in 2022.

Lanaco’s Head of Technology, Shaun Tan, said that attending the AHR Expo was a great opportunity to showcase Lanaco’s products and technology to a global audience. “We are proud to be a leader in natural material breathable filters and to offer solutions that can improve the health and well-being of people and the planet. We are excited to connect with potential customers and partners who share our vision and values.”

Lanaco thanks everyone who we interacted with at the AHR Expo and expressed interest in our products and technology. Lanaco looks forward to attending AHR Expo again and continuing to innovate and deliver natural material breathable filters for a better world.
