Minister Chris Penk Visits Lanaco to Discuss the Realities of Building Deep-Tech Infrastructure
We recently hosted Minister Chris Penk MP at our Auckland facility to discuss how a New Zealand team scales a deep-tech product for global markets.
Material science requires heavy machinery, strict quality control, and a robust supply chain.
We walked the Minister through our production line to show how we transform carefully selected wool into EcoStatic®: a high-performance triboelectric filter media.
Building this manufacturing infrastructure in Auckland took over a decade of research, a dedicated sheep breeding program, and serious proprietary engineering.
It was a great opportunity to talk through the ground-level challenges of building a physical technology company here.
