Lanaco showcases innovative filter media tech at World Filtration Congress 2022

We are excited to share our experience of attending the 13th World Filtration Congress (WFC 13) in San Diego, California, USA, from October 5 to 9, 2022. This was a great opportunity for us to showcase our innovative filter media technology and connect with the global filtration and separation community.

What is WFC 13?

WFC 13 is the premier congress in filtration, held once every four years rotating among member countries of INDEFI (International Delegation on Filtration). The congress features a comprehensive technical program with plenary and keynote presentations, oral and poster sessions, short courses, symposia tracks, and an expo hall with more than 100 exhibitors.

The theme of WFC 13 was Energy, Environment and Health, highlighting the importance and impact of filtration on various aspects of our lives and society. The congress attracted more than 1,500 attendees from academia, industry, government, and non-governmental organizations.

What did we do at WFC 13?

We had a busy and productive time at WFC 13. Here are some of the highlights:

– We exhibited at Booth #109, where we displayed our latest products and solutions based on our EcoStatic® technology. We also demonstrated how our EcoStatic® filter media was chosen by NASA for critical life support systems on the current Artemis programme.
– We met with many potential customers, partners, and collaborators from different sectors and regions. We discussed their needs and challenges and how our filter media technology can help them achieve their goals.
– We attended several technical sessions and learned from the experts and leaders in air filtration. We also exchanged ideas and insights with our peers and colleagues from around the world.
– We enjoyed the beautiful scenery and weather of San Diego.

What did we learn from WFC 13?

WFC 13 was a valuable learning experience for us. We learned that:

– There is a growing demand for high-performance, sustainable, and versatile filter media solutions in various applications and industries.
– There is a lot of innovation and research happening in air filtration, especially in areas such as health, energy, and environment.
– There is a strong interest and curiosity about wool-based filter media technology among the air filtration community.
– There is a lot of potential for collaboration and partnership among different stakeholders in air filtration.

What are our next steps after WFC 13?

We are very pleased with the outcome of WFC 13. We are looking forward to:

– Following up with the contacts we made at the congress and exploring opportunities for cooperation.
– Continuing to develop and improve our filter media technology and products to meet the evolving needs of our customers.
– Staying updated with the latest trends and developments in air filtration.
– Participating in future events and activities related to air filtration.

We would like to thank everyone who visited our booth, attended our presentations, or interacted with us at WFC 13. We appreciate your interest and support. We hope to see you again soon!
